May 16, 1941 - January 21, 2020

CUMBERLAND – Barbara Sue (Brown) Webster, 78, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born May 16, 1941, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Brown; brother-in-law, Fred Jacobs.

Barbara graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1959. She went on to be a medical office manager for Dr. Fiscus, Dr. Merrick, Dr. Calkins, and Tom Bostaph, CRNP.
She also managed medical records for various other offices in the area. Recently, she retired from the Western Maryland Health System – Regional Medical Center.
Barbara was a 4-H coordinator for the North Branch area of Cumberland, and she taught numerous classes to many youth in the area. She was an IBEW Ladies Auxiliary chairman in past years, a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, and had been a current member of Living Waters Ministries. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their athletic and academic events. Her golden retriever, Kalie, was also very loved. She was a kind and selfless person who was always willing to help a person in need. Her family and friends will sadly miss her.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel F. Webster, Sr.; children, Daniel F. Webster, Jr., Cumberland, and Rebecca “Becky” Webster Rees, Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Alexandra, Alyssa, and Kelsey Rees; sister, Sandra Brown Jacobs, Cumberland; brother, James “Jimmy” Brown, Frederick; niece, Kim Jacobs Adkins and husband, Garth, Bonita Springs, FL; grandnephew, Cort Adkins and wife, Rachel, Bonita Springs, FL; grandniece, Morgan Adkins Schlemm and husband, Bobby, Bonita Springs, FL.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1 p.m. with Pastor Robin Kirschner officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful friends and family who visited and cared for her over the past month
