George H. Cooper, son of Richard & Angeline Cooper was born in Marion County, IL. He was 72 years, 1 month & 10 days old.

He was the eldest of six children, all of whom have preceded him in death.

He was married to Celinda E. Rice (Rea) December 11, 1872. Thirteen children were born. His wife and nine children survive. Namely: Mrs. Mayme Lathrop, Mrs. Alma nolan, Clayton, Arthur, Garfield, Frank, Samuel, Killy, and Fanny. Also surviving is Anna Routt, whom he raised from infancy.
