Vincent E. Baker, 66, lifelong Indianapolis resident, passed away January 23, 2020. Vince was born in Beech Grove, Indiana March 13, 1953, to Hugh G. and Frances Ann (Wade) Baker.

He graduated from St. Catherine Grade School, Cathedral High School and earned a degree from IUPUI. Vince was a natural salesman and was the owner and operator of Engineering Sales for more than 30 years. His love for golf created many friendships that spanned decades. Vince was also an avid fisherman and member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3660. He never met a stranger and will be fondly remembered for his generous and compassionate spirit.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Mary (Barr) Baker; daughter, Molly Baker; siblings, Betsy (David) Georg, Kay (Jim) Johnson, Hugh “Red” (Mary Ann) Baker, Sue (Jim) Kirchner, Theresa (Joe) Romer, Mary Pat (Michael) Kiefer, Rita Berning, Maureen Baker and John (Nancy) Baker; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Baker.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. January 27, 2020 the O’Riley Funeral Home - 6107 South East Street, where morning prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. January 28, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. January 28, 2020 St. Mark Catholic Church. Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
