Margie F. Petty Hughes, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on May 6, 2018. Memorial services will be at 1 pm, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Henrietta Cowboy Church in Henrietta, Texas. The family will be at the Cowboy Church from 11: 30 am until time of service for visitation.
Margie was born August 6, 1934 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Loyd (Jack) and Willie (Klepper) Petty. She was the youngest daughter of six children and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Henrietta, Texas. Margie enjoyed sewing and working in her yard. Her greatest love was to attend her great grandsons sporting activities.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Davis and husband, Jake, of Wichita Falls; Tommy Lyde and his three daughters, Janie Clayton, Ann Bowman, and Sandy Boyer; brother, John Petty; special friends, Barbara Hravdill and Carla Karl; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters and one brother, her children, Jackie Hodges, Debbie Hodges.
