Billy Ray Wilkins, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home in Georgetown, IN.
He was born May 7, 1937 in Central City, KY the son of Joseph Patrick and Ola Mae Clark Wilkins.
He was an employee at Oxy Chemical in Clarksville, IN from 1955-1992 and retired as a production supervisor from there and was a member of Georgetown Christian Church.
Billy was a nature lover and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and golf and truly enjoyed attending all sporting events that his children and grandchildren were involved in.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Barbara Walton, Ann Miller and Wanda Will and a grandchild, Mila Jane Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Ratta Wilkins of Georgetown, IN; sons, Tony Wright (Jessica) of Jeffersonville, KY, Mike Wright (Nicole) of Lanesville, IN and Billy Wilkins (Janel) of New Salisbury, IN; daughters, Debbie Ingram (Mark) and Michelle Willkins both of Charlestown, IN, Becky Crone (Jon) of New Albany, IN and Christine Holmes (Nathan) of New Washington, IN; a brother, Joe Wilkins (Patricia) of Adrian, MI; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Pastor Roebin Tyler and Randy Hensley will officiate. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 and again on Sunday from 11 AM until the service at 2 PM.
