Mr. Terry Wayne Jordan, age 50 of Gonzales, Louisiana, formerly of Sikes, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Born Tuesday, September 2, 1969 in Montgomery, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wesley Jordan, Sr. and Nellie Pinder Jordan.
Mr. Jordan worked as a boilermaker and loved fishing and playing basketball with his sons.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deidra Jordan; sons, Devon Jordan, Trevor Jordan and Terrence Jordan; brothers, Mike Jordan (Cathy) and Ricky Jordan (Sheila); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Hudey Beaubouf officiating. Interment will follow in Hurricane Grove Cemetery in Sikes.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Devon Jordan, Jonathan Preston, Heath McAnally, Thomas Truelove, Caleb Mathews and Josh Allwell. Honroary pallbearers will be Billy Finn, Daniel Cornett and Cody Tolbert.
