James Rollins Kirkland, 71, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Jim worked for the State of Alabama as a Parole Officer and retired after 30 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam Conflict and continued in the reserve for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Martha Kirkland and sister, Tommie Staten.
