Marilyn Joy Ragle Warren passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on January 20, 2020.
Marilyn was born March 28, 1932, to Reuben and Josie Ragle of Dicey. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1949. In 1950, Marilyn married the love of her life, Dugan Warren and they shared 69 years of marriage. For more than 25 years, she was employed by Mutual Building and Loan Association in Weatherford. She was a long-time member of North Side Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir, served as a children’s choir director, director of the baby nursery, and as an active member of the Cancer Support Group.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Josie Ragle; brothers, Truett, James, Bud, Dwayne and Ronnie Ragle; and grandson, Jesse Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Dugan Warren; daughter Brenda Marlette and Lance; son, Alan Warren; daughter, Karen Moore and Eric; and grandchildren, Emily, Isaac, Lydia, Naomi, David, and Micah. She is also survived by sisters, Wanda Moran and Martha Gagnon, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Weatherford, Texas.
