Peggy Traylor Carnes, 69, of Temple, GA died Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton.

She was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on February 21, 1945, the daughter of the late Curtis Traylor and the late Irene Williamson Traylor.

She was a graduate of Bremen High School and was the office manager for Capitol-EMI Music in Atlanta for thirty-six years until her retirement in 2004. She moved from Tucker to Temple shortly after her retirement and was very active in the Temple Senior Center. She had a magnetic personality and a smile that could light up the life of everyone she came in contact with. She was a true "Southern Lady", and her sweet spirit and love of life will be missed by everyone who ever met her. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica.

Peggy is survived by her son, Bill Carnes, Jr. and Suzanne, of Carrollton; her sister, Vickie Traylor of Macon; a special friend, Larry Cole of Temple; and a number of extended generations.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. from the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in the Villa Room at the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. In accordance with her wishes, the body was cremated
