Junior was born on September 6, 1937 in Bladen County, to the late James “Jim” C. Young and Ida Graham Young. Along with parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, JC Young, Herbert Young, Oree Young, Hazel Goodman, and Irma Moore.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:30, prior to the service.
To cherish his memory, Junior leaves behind his beloved wife of 64
years, Elvie Patrick Young of the home; children, Franklin D. Young of Council, Debra Y. Sholar (Glenn) of Wallace, Anthony “Tony” Young of Council, Beverly “Belle” Y. Jacobs (Stevie) of Bolton, Ida Y. Castro (Oscar) of Delco; siblings, Barabara Young of Council, Helen Y. Goodman of Clinton; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
