Tammy Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully on January 17, 2020, she was 26. Tammy was born in South Bend, IN on March 25, 1993 to Hoa Van and Diem Thi (Tran) Nguyen.

Tammy was a big ball of energy. Nothing stopped her, she was very brave and independent. She loved going to the beach and was a world traveler, riding any roller coaster she came across. Tammy graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Butler University in Communications, but then decided she might go back to get a law degree so she could work for Disney, one of her greatest passions.

Everyone loved Tammy, and she loved back. She loved spending time with children, family and friends. She was very involved at her church, volunteering as a server and working with the youth. She just attended a Passion Conference in Atlanta before she became ill.

Tammy is survived by her parents; Brother, Troy; and many, many friends. Her infectious smile will be missed.

Tammy’s favorite bible verse was Isaiah 40:31;

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles,

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not be faint.

Visitation for Tammy, will take place on Sat. Jan 25 at Gospel City Church, 52277 Hickory Rd. Granger, IN, from 4-5:45pm. A Funeral Service will then take place at 5:45p.m. Cremation will follow.
