Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Alzehimer’s Foundation.

Mrs. Hayes, age 89, of Mt. Juliet, TN died January 20, 2020 at Summit Medical Center.

She was born in Dickson County, the Slayden Community, daughter of the late Jessie and Ellen Miller Bull.

Edna was a homemaker and the widow of Billy Hayes who preceded her in death in 2013.

She attended school in Slayden and was a member of the Baptist Church. She was also an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.

She loved planning events and she and her late husband spent lots of time at their camp on the Tennessee River. Edna was the president of the Pal’s Club at the Ponderosa lake resort. She loved dancing and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Hayes Wilkinson and her husband, Horace of Nashville, TN.
