Pearl Iva Martin, age 90, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Beaver City Manor,Beaver City, Nebraska.

She was born on March 12, 1929, in Dalton, Nebraska in Cheyenne County to Ray Benton and Iva Pearl (Parrish) Teeters. In 1945, Pearl would move to Beaver City from Lyons, Nebraska.

She married Wayne Martin on September 13, 1947, at Norton, Kansas. They made their home and farmed southeast of Beaver City until 1985, when they moved into Beaver City, Nebraska. Thru the years she worked at the sale barn in Oxford, Nebraska, the post office in Beaver City, and the Wenburg Funeral Home since 1995.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the VFW Auxiliary of Beaver City.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband Wayne, sisters Lola (Norris) Willey and Myrtle (Dick) Jindra.

She is survived by her sons David (Kerry) Martin of Bellevue, Nebraska, Roger Martin of Oxford, Nebraska, Eugene (Burlinda) Martin of Pittsburgh, Kansas, Calvin Martin of Beaver City, and Melvin (Gail) Martin of Beaver City, sisters; Mary (Neil) Wells of Arapahoe, Nebraska, Betty (Dale) Hightree of Texas, and Donna (Johnny) Houston of El Paso, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2020 at 4 PM to 6 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald, officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska.
