Betty Jane Church, 88 of Ovilla, Texas, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at home.

She was born at Harrison, Arkansas on May 15, 1931 to parents Nathan Wilburn Willis and Gladys Vesta (Carlton) Willis of Newton County.

She and her late husband Glyn, lived in Batavia for 42 years before moving to Texas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where her husband was also a Bishop.

Betty enjoyed painting and sewing and traveling North Arkansas going to auctions with her husband. She loved being a grandmother, but especially loved being a great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glyn Church, her son, Wayne McCutcheon, and her siblings, Georgana Sanford, Arvie Tharp and Jack Willis, Sr.

Betty is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Jeremy and Amanda McCutcheon, Brian and Rachel McCutcheon and Laura and Brian Bell; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Harrison. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery near Parthenon.
