Services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26th, at the White-Ranson Funeral Home Chapel in Union City, Tennessee. The Rev. King Dickerson will officiate, and burial will follow in the Troy Hill Cemetery at Troy, Tennessee.
Mr. Alexander was born July 17, 1914, in Jackson, Tennessee, son of John F. Alexander of Jackson and the late Mrs. Alexander. He was an engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad with a record of 27 years of service. He had made his home in Fulton for many years and moved to Memphis three years ago. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Hood Alexander, to whom he was married in March of 1962; three sons, Johnny Alexander, Bill Alexander and Jerry Alexander, all of Jackson, Tennessee; his father, a brother, E. K. Alexander of South Fulton, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Watkins and Mrs. Reba Willoby, both of Jackson, and one grandchild.
