Miss Nettie Louise Conner, 83, a resident of Pine Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Henry Etta & Bruce Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. She was born on July 27, 1936 in Davidson County, NC to James Brantley Conner and Molly Underwood Conner. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and at one time worked for the Sheltered Workshop. She loved singing all the old hymns, playing Bingo at Pine Ridge, making pot holders and giving them as gifts and she loved reciting the poems that she memorized.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Brantley (J.B.) Conner, Jr.; her sister, Betty Joyce Gordon.
Surviving is her sister, Marion Brinkley and husband Clifton of Thomasville; and 9 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Vickrey officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Davidson County Sheltered Workshop, Inc. 275 Monroe Rd.
