Jean H. (Auchey) Kessler, 92, of Hanover, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Homewood at Plum Creek. She was the loving wife of Burnell L. Kessler who died October 18, 1994.

She was born December 8, 1927 in West Manheim Township, York County, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Espenedia C. (Sterner) Auchey.

Mrs. Kessler retired from Hanover Brands in September 1986 after 28 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Hanover and the AARP.

She is survived by her; daughter, Judy Frock and husband Ronald, Spring Grove; son Terry Kessler and wife Betty, York; grandchildren, Tony Frock, New Oxford, Jeff Frock and wife Karen, Spring Grove, Julie Waltemyer and husband Tim, York New Salem and Kevin Kessler, Spring Grove; great grandchildren, Jacquelynn Budzyn and husband David, South Carolina, Corey Frock and wife Janna, South Carolina and Ashton Waltemyer, York New Salem and great, great grandchildren, Ruby Frock and Lara Budzyn.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde A., Harry S. and Glenn H. Auchey and sisters Thelma M. Evans and Eleanor Heildebridle.

A service to celebrate the life of Jean H. Kessler will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11 AM at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1398 Moulstown Road, Hanover with Rev. David L. DeLong officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hanover. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Waltemyer, Kevin Kessler, Tony Frock, Jeff Frock, Jack Auchey and Jay Auchey.
