Jerry O. Casey, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. Jerry was born on December 29, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James and Vivia Geary Casey.

He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, and was currently working for VISCO in Louisville. He was a member and elder of the Hamburg Pike Church of Christ in Jeffersonville and he was a loving husband, proud father and a playful grandad. In recent years, Jerry found enjoyment in hiking and hunting with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always treated them to an abundance of fresh bakery donuts on Saturday mornings. Jerry was a perfectionist and his immaculate lawn and shiny clean cars told his story. He leaves behind a legacy of faithful service to Christ and the church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Arria Nichols.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Paula Askew Casey; three children, Kenan Casey (Ashley); Micah Nichols (Robbie); Marah Collins (Jared); a brother, James Casey (Sheila); and ten grandchildren, Logan, Maegan, Liam, Rylan, Eden, Addison, Cyan, Naomi, Asher, and Saul.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9-11 AM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with a graveside service to follow at the Church of Christ in Quality, Kentucky around 3 PM (EST) that afternoon.
