Michael Bratton Meador, Jr., 21, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. He was a member of Jackson Chapel Church and a 2017 graduate of Hernando High School, where he was a fixture at Friday night football games. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and big trucks. Michael loved his community and they loved him. He often bragged about his 18 girlfriends. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday at Hernando Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Hernando Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Meador of Hernando; sisters, Wendy Hale (Brian) of Byhalia, Maggie Meador (Rob Pugh) of Hernando; brother, Ben Meador of Hernando; grandparents, Elmer and Mary Dabney of Hernando; niece, Ruby Grace; nephews, Elijah, Bradley, Tommy; and a host of friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Bratton Meador; grandparents, Raymond Barkley, Barbara Castle, Thomas Hayden Meador; great grandmothers, Sally Lenox and Myrtle Griffin.
