Richard is survived by his daughters: Pam (Andy) Garber, Cheryl Queen, Judy (Jon) Grabel; son Tim (Mary) Kline, 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild with 2 on the way; sister: Katherine Patricia Hasenbuhler.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna, and his 12 siblings.
Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and had been a member of the Alva N. Sidle American Legion Post #232 in Grand Rapids, Ohio. He owned his own welding business. Richard taught Sunday School for many years and served on the Board of Deacons for 45 years at Sonlight Assembly of God in Weston. Richard was known as a storyteller, like to play the guitar and sing songs. He had a large collection of pocket knives that he got from all over. Richard loved to ride horses and to go fishing. He took pride in his yard and like to mow his grass- sometimes every day to make it look perfect. His family was very important to him and he will be greatly missed by everyone.
Visitation for Richard will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 20375 E. Taylor Street, Weston, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow in Weston Cemetery.
