He was survived by his wife, Nellie Bean Hale of McComb, MS; two daughters, Edda Hale and Carol Wilkerson, both of Atlanta, GA; one son, Roger Hale of Raymond, MS; two stepsons, Edward Bean of McComb, MS and Brad Bean of Gillsburg, MS; three sisters, Helen Cahill of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dorothy Sullivan of Jackson, TN, and Elizabeth Ishee of Louin, MS; one brother, Lawrence C. Hale of Water Valley, MS; and 9 grandchildren.
