Edward W. Burich, 91, of The Omro Care Center, formerly Reedsville, died Tuesday, February 25, 1992, at the care center.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. Father Larry Seidl will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.
He was born September 27, 1900, in Reedsville, son of the late Frank and Mary Etzler Burich. He married the former Irene Zipperer on June 11, 1935, in Whitelaw. He farmed in the Reedsville area for many years and worked for White Westinghouse and Manitowoc Shipbuilders. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Lonnie Cooks of Madison; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Adrienne of Winneconne; two grandchildren, Sue Burich and Mya Cooks. He was preceded in death by his wife, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday when family rites will be held. Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff of The Omro Care Center for the kind and compassionate care they gave to Ed.
