MERIWETHER, Lawrence C. 92, passed away March, 5, 2017, and was born in Ann Arbor, MI, January 18, 1925. Larry's home, however would be in Connecticut, where he met his bride of 57 years, Mary Lee Mihalick. Always together, the couple had three daughters, Mary-Louise Lawson (Tim), Laurie M. Collins (Ca-van), and Beth Roarke (Troy).

Retired for over 30 years, Mary Lee and Larry spent their golden years traveling to Alaska, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Barcelona, Scotland, London; and volunteering at their local hospital. The couple made Florida their home in 1986, living in Hudson and then Jacksonville.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather to six grandchildren, Adam, Kaitlyn, Kimberlee, Colleen, Andrew, and Natalie. Larry made family the focus of his life. His love for family will live on in his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Services to be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Wednesday, 6-8 pm, and Thursday 11 am.

Note: Larry was first married to Elizabeth Sanders in 1946. They had a son, Lawrence Clifford Meriwether III, who was killed in Viet Nam in 1968.
