David A. Barber died Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born August 30, 1946 in Greenville, MI the son of Arthur and Carol (Lehman) Barber. David attended First Congregational Church in St. Johns and was a talented woodworker. During his working career he was a truck driver primarily working as a milk hauler for Carnation and he also worked for Green Meadow Farms near Elsie. Surviving are two daughters, Janice Barber (Stewart Buskirk) and Courtney Barber; twelve grandchildren, Leah, Mason, Lexi, Annie, Katherine, Jessica, Kimmy, Michelle, Brad, Lindsay, Dustin and Ricky; many great grandchildren; three brothers, Jeff (Connie) Barber, Al and Vic Barber; a nephew, Willie Barber and his dog Mia. Following David’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The family was assisted with these arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
