She was the widow of Frederick S. Jones, whom she married June 12, 1941, and who died Dec. 1, 1994.
Mae was born June 3, 1922, in Denhoff, N.D., the daughter of the late Olin and Carrie Jorgenson Morris.
In earlier years, she was employed by the Sweetheart Bread Co. in Billings, Mont., and later for a number of years by the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jamestown.
Surviving are four children: Judy (Darrell) Smock of Hudson, Wis., Karen (Phil) Johnson of Jamestown, Darryl (Deborah) Jones of Wheatfield, Ind., and Fred (Marjie) Jones of Chesnee, S.C.; as well as 22 grandchildren, 37 greatgrandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Frederick, Mae was preceded in death by a daughter, ShirLee Cruts; and a granddaughter, Kelly Sue Jones.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Derek Johnson, Mae’s grandson, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
