BLOOMINGTON – Thomas M. Walls, 77, of Bloomington passed away at 8:42 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his residence.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington with Pastor William L. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Thomas was born on August 20, 1942 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, a son to Lucille Ford and Willie Walls. He married Connie Wilmoth on December 31, 1990, in Bloomington. She preceded him in death on November 7, 2018.
Surviving are his children, Jimmy Collins, James Walls, Tommy Walls, Troy Walls, Sharon Walls, Robert Walls, Muhammad Walls, Levar Walls, LaTasha Bright, Michelle Walls, Tiffany Walls, Michael Howard, Damond Safford and Dewayne Howard; brothers, TJ Walls, Billie Joe Walls, Eddie Walls and Edwards Walls and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four children, David Walls, Calvin Walls, Yashania Walls and Larry Walls; four brothers, Charlie Cameron, Albert Walls, Walter Walls, and Willie Walls and two sisters, Geneva Walls and Dorothy Mayfield.
