Clement Maile Fujii "Masaji" Padeken, 90, of Ka'a'awa, a World War II and Korean War veteran who served as a Private First Class in the United States Army, died on Friday. "Clem", as some of his neighbors and fellow parishioners called him, was predeceased by his son, Clement "Braddah Boy", Jr. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances; daughter, Saralyn; daughter-in-law, Julyne; four granchildren: Sara Ka'owakaokalani Deal, Joseph Keala (Puamana) Deal, Kanani, and Kanoelani (Cameron) Rillamas; four great grandchildren: Lucas Manipon, Kealaloa Deal, Kalikoaloha Deal, and Lily Rillamas; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be held Friday morning on January 24, 2020 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Waikāne; lunch to follow. Burial: 2:00pm at Hawai'i State Veterans Cemetery.
