Ryan Matthew Long, 33, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 9, 1986. Ryan attended and played football for Trinity Christian Academy and proudly graduated class of 2005.

Ryan was employed by H.D.Long Electrical Contractors and previously worked at Walmart for many years helping in various departments as well as Bob Davis Electric. He was an asset to his employers. Ryan loved watching football and was a loyal fan of the Florida Gators. His passions in life were going to theme parks, attending concerts and spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered by everyone for having the biggest heart and never leaving a favor unfinished. He was well known for his jokes and great sense of humor that would always leave you with a smile.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie Huggins, Harry D Long Sr, and Loraine Long. Ryan is survived by his parents, Harry D Long Jr., Rhonda Long, Grandfathers, Spencer Huggins, Raymond Norton, siblings Harry D Long III and Amanda Long, and his nieces and nephews: Brayden, Kinsley, Waylon, Prestyn, Hayden, and Madelyn, and many beloved friends; especially his best friend Dennis Meurer.

His family will be receiving friends on Monday January 20, 2020 from 10 am to 12pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral home 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32205. A celebration of life will immediately follow in the chapel at 12pm. Ryan's committal will take place at Riverside Memorial Park at approximately 1pm after his celebration.
