Funeral services for Jennifer Rodgers will be held Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Firstborn in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa.
Jennifer Marie Rodgers was born July 21st, 1959 in Olympia, Washington to Walter Hansen and Ruth Hansen. She passed away January 14th, 2020 at the age of 60. Jennifer grew up in Junction City, Oregon. She later graduated from Tulsa Community College with a degree in child development. Jennifer and Eldon Rodgers were married on July 24th, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas. She and Eldon lived in several places but for the last 25 years they lived in Mounds, Oklahoma. Mrs. Rodgers worked as a sewing business owner and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and creating new crafts.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joe Hansen; her sisters, Pricilla Hansen, Dorothy Hansen, and Patsy Hansen.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Eldon Rodgers of Mounds, Oklahoma; son, Russell Rodgers of Mounds; son, Caleb Rodgers of Mounds; son, Jonathan Rodgers and wife, Ashley of Owasso; daughter, Vanessa Rodgers of Glenpool; three grandchildren, Landon Rodgers, Hutton and Sawyer Sizemore; brother, Ross Hansen and wife, Janet of Tahoka, Texas; brother, Robert Hansen and wife, Dixie of Oregon; brother, Jim Hansen and wife, Trish of Rocky, Oklahoma; sister, Marci Hansen of Oregon; sister, Barbara Hansen of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Sharon Hansen of Washington; sister, Beverly Hansen of Oregon; sister, Susan Waring of Slick, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
