William "Bill" Clemens Grobe passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 79. William was born on August 30, 1926 in Fredericksburg, Texas. He served his country proudly as a WWII veteran in the U.S. Army. He was a 50 year member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local #01 and was an avid hunter and fisherman. William will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by wife, Rose Madeline; brother, Milton Grobe; and sister, Irene Mosel.
Surviving him are two sons; one brother, Franklin Grobe of Coal Hill, Arkansas; three sisters, Ruby (Elgin) Hartman of New Braunfels, Texas, Alice (Henry) Weiershausen of Brownwood, Texas and Gertrude Roos of Fredericksburg, Texas. Also surviving him are five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Seaside Memorial Park.
