Arthur E. Harvey,
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Arthur passed into eternal life on his 85th birthday, January 13, 2020. Arthur had a distinguished career by serving our country as an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, working as Comptroller of Altus Air Force Base Hospital, and running a small business as the owner/operator of Bower’s Exterminating, where he was often mistakenly referred to as “Mr. Bowers”.
In retirement, Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing across Oklahoma, Texas and more recently Michigan.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Charley and Lula Harvey, 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Frances, son Gary Harvey (wife Vickye), and grandsons John, David and Stephen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Honaker Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Logan, WV 25601. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Arthur will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV near his hometown in Logan, West Virginia.
