Cynthia was born Jan. 12, 1949, to Theodore and Marrietta Wright. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and Ball State University. Cynthia was employed at the welfare department, Geater Center, TOGO's and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Cynthia is survived her son, Harrison (Jalana) Muhammad; daughter, Teresa (Israel) Jackson; sisters, Victoria Burney, Deborah Nunn, Cheryl (Lawrence) Kayzer; sisters-in-law, Nora Boyd, Ella Dunson, Dorothy McGrady, Lardie (Mario) Elcock; brothers-in-law, John (Annie) Jackson, Horace Jackson Jr., Sylvester Jackson, Willie Jackson, John Brooks; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harson Jackson; mother/father-in-law, Horace (Ophelia) Jackson; and son, Anthony Slaughter.
Service will be held noon Saturday at United in Christ Church, 538 E. 31st St., with Rev. Louis Jackson Jr.
