Sarah Ann Daniel, 83, of Mannington, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Tygart Center in Fairmont. She was born August 2, 1936, at Bunner’s Rdge, Fairmont, a daughter of the late Donald M. Moran and Marjorie C. Moran Moran.
Sarah graduated from East Fairmont High School and attended WV Business College for 2 years. She was employed by Pennzoil Natural Gas Company as a clerk, having retired after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Mannington Woman of the Moose #1053. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, doing puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Steelers and Pirates.
Survivors include her children: Terri A. (Bill) Nuzum of Pleasant Valley and Donald (Sharon) Luzadder of Mannington; step children: Terrie M. (Peter) Butt and Carolyn (Mitch) Richardson of Fairmont; step daughter-in-law: Mary Jo Daniel of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren: Heather and Anthony Luzadder, Jennifer (Jeff) Sturm, Sarah Luzadder, Angela (Jim) Leonard, Mary K. (Bruce) Wilkison, and Mitchell D. (Christy) Richardson; great grandchildren: Emily Riggs, Jaden and Justin Sturm, Reese and Evan Richardson, Breelin Wilkison, Rosie and Nolan Chandler; siblings: Ray (Mary “Patty”) Moran of Shinnston, Nancy (Larry) Hamilton of Fairmont, and Donald Moran of CA; and her beloved cat “Tiger.”
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by he husband, *Donald T. Daniel, whom she married June 10, 1972, an infant brother, Danny Moran, brother, William Moran, and sister, Sandra Moran, and a step son, Peter Daniel.
