Elizabeth Ann Martinez, 65, of Sidney, passed away on December 2, 2019, at her residence. She was born on January 31, 1954, the daughter of John J. and Ellean Freisthler Davis both parents preceded her in death. On February 27, 1998 she married Ruben Martinez, who survives in Sidney.

Liz was truly an amazing woman, she was an Artist of the Saints, and her artwork hangs in many hallowed areas throughout the world. She was a member of the Gateway Art Council, did an Art Show at the Amos Memorial Library, and also at the Maria Stein Art Festival. She was an excellent wife and mother, and a devout Catholic, a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and their Altar Rosary Society and the Bible Study.

Survivors include: Regina Davis, of Springfield, Katrina (Don) Johnson of Va., Jason Garrett of IN., Felicia (John) Heisler of IN, Clint Garrett of IN., Adrian (Jeanette) Garrett of Dallas TX., Nakycia Garrett of South Carolina, and Sophia Martinez of South Carolina. Elizabeth had 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Michael (Belinda) Davis, and a special sister-in-law and friend, Lorrie Davis. Her brothers: Raymond Davis, Joseph Davis, and John F. Davis, along with her sister, Karen Ginn, are deceased.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Fr. Frank Amberger, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Graceland Cemetery. For online condolences, go to www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
