MOULTON — Jerry “Bud” Cole, 85, died January 13, 2020. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Parkway Funeral Home. Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with burial in Bald Knob Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service

Funeral for Jerry "Bud" Cole, 85, of Moulton will be Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Faith Baptist Church, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ted Vafeas and Rev. Jeff Griffis officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service Burial will be in Bald Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Cole, who died Monday, January 13, 2020, at his residence, was born, October 6, 1934, to James Cole and Bertha Morris Cole Wadsworth. He was a member, Deacon and song leader at Faith Baptist Church in Midway. He was a supervisor at Automatic Screw Machine for 23 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed rabbit hunting and was a life long Alabama Football fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife - Shirley Eades Cole, parents, daughter - Delores Cole Swindle, sisters - Frances Lovelace, Billie Jean Lyell
Survivors include:
4 sons - James (Melia) Cole, David (Krystal) Cole, Johnny (Lana) Cole, Russell (Melba) Eades
3 daughters - Joyce (Steve) Long, Judy (Lynn) Smith, Sherlene Cole
3 brother - Vinson Cole, Spencer Cole, Price Cole
Sister - Agnes Jones
15 grandchildren
13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joel Long, Daniel Smith, Slade Cole, Jacob Cole, Chad Swindle, Daniel Fagan.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Clark, Michael Boozer, Luke Etheredge, Jim Jones, Boyd Rhodes, Blake Robinson.
