Michael “Mike” Bledsoe, age 71, died January 6, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at his home in Franklin, TN surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Kingsport, TN, he was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and received his undergraduate and M.B.A degrees from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville. Mike spent the bulk of his 35+ year professional career working for Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport and overseas in Mexico City, Mexico and The Hauge, Netherlands. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he loved life, golf, and spending time with his family. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Howard “Buck” Bledsoe; brother, Davey Bledsoe; paternal grandparents, Everett and Maysie Bledsoe; and maternal grandparents, Olen and Eloise Quillen. Surviving are his wife, Marcia Bledsoe; sons and daughters-in-law, Hunter and Elizabeth “Bree” Bledsoe and Dustin and Susannah Bledsoe; grandchildren, Cole Smith, Hayden Smith, Kai Bledsoe, Jax Bledsoe, Maggie Bledsoe, Anne-Quillen Bledsoe, and Eli Bledsoe; mother, Dorothy Bledsoe; sister, Nikki Brooks and her husband, Jerry; brother, Jeffrey Bledsoe and his wife, Samantha.
