Tallmadge - Chafalaya Rose, 87, of 2536 Emmons Dr., Clinton, formerly of 880 Eastwood Ave., Tallmadge, died following a short illness at her residence, December 10, 1982. Mrs. Rose was a homemaker born in Lafayette, Macon Co., TN, and lived over 60 years in the Akron areas. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters. She was the widow of Raymond Rose; and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Foster, of St. Louis, MO., Mrs. Louis (Katherine) Long of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Fetzer, of Palm Desert, CA, and Mrs. Pearl Pipkin, of Roswell, NM; brother, Theo Hargis, of Parrish, FL, five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by brothers, Casey and Otis, and sister, Mamie. Services 2 pm Tuessday, at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home with Rev. William Cord officiating. Burial Tallmadge Cemetery.
