Trent Johnson, 59, of Charlottesville, IN passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Monday, January 29, 2018 in his home.
He was born March 5, 1958 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of late Richard L. and Glowdean (Bow) Johnson.
Trent attended Eastern Hancock Schools and was a lifetime carpenter, working in the family business. He enjoyed visiting Kentucky, four wheeling and riding his Harley Davidson in his younger years.
Trent is survived by a son, Jeremiah (wife: Erica) Johnson of Shelbyville; a step-daughter Shawnda Lovell (fiance´: Rob Whitfield) of Morristown; a step-son, Jordan Lovell (companion: Brittany Pate) of Rushville; grandchildren, Nevaeh Johnson and Graycie, Shaylynn and Quinlan Lovell; two brothers, Marcus Johnson of Batesville and Brian Johnson of Charlottesville; two nephews, Joe Perkins and Jeremy Johnson; two nieces, Deana Payne and Nyoca Starr Phillips and two great-nieces, Tori Perkins and Lily Payne.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Kay Perkins; a brother, John Thomas Johnson and a nephew, Allen Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown with The Rev. Don Stuck officiating. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
