Lana S. Johnson, 66, of Delphos, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, at her residence.

She was born September 16, 1953, in Lima, to Marvin and Mildred (Teman) Spitnale. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Delphos. She was united in marriage to Gerard
(Jerry) L. Johnson on February 24, 1973, he survives in Delphos.

She is survived by a son, Jerry (Sherry) Johnson of Delphos; a brother, Mark (LeAnn) Spitnale of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two sisters, Laura (Steven) Emura of Honolulu, Hawaii and LeAnn (Deron) Sorrell of Lima; three grandchildren, Brittney, Courtney, and Zachary; and one great-granddaughter, Roselynn.

She was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson high school and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon. She was an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of her many pets. She also enjoyed shopping at the Thrift Store and camping. She had worked at Pangles, Ye Olde Wash House, Gressels and then worked for TMD as a Press Operator for over 37 years.

Her funeral service will be held on January 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Rev. Harry Tolhurst will officiate. Burial will follow as Cascade cemetery in Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
