Joseph is survived by his wife: Jane Gibson, son; Kacey (Terri) Gibson, daughter; Gina (Mike) Hagy, stepsons; Gavin and Chad Salsbery, grandchildren; Peyton Gibson, Gage & Hudson Salsbery.
He served his country with honor in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion post #1152 and Kokomo Knights of Columbus #656. Enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends and especially rooting for Notre Dame. He retired from Haynes International after more than 28 years.
A memorial service will be Friday January 17, 2020 1:00pm hosted by Kacey and Gina at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street with a gathering of friends from 11:00am until time of service at the mortuary.
An additional memorial service will be Saturday January 25, 2020 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street with a gathering of friends from 11:00am until time of service. A celebration of life will be at Kokomo Knights of Columbus #656 starting immediately following the memorial service.
