He was born November 28, 1958 in Dallas TX to Kenneth and Nina (Horton) Bryan and spent his early childhood in the Dallas area and moved to Oklahoma City (The Village) in his late childhood. He was a 1977 graduate of John Marshall High School and later attended OSU, OKC. He was a 31-year veteran of the Nichols Hills Fire Department, where he had worked up through the ranks and was promoted to Chief on November 1, 1991. He had also owned and operated his own construction business during his career with the fire department. He was an active member of The Bridge Assembly of God in Mustang, as well as a member of the Metro Association of Fire Chiefs and the International Association of Fire Chiefs and was past president of Oklahoma State Fire Chiefs Association. He received a Responder of the Year Heroism Award in 1999. Keith served Mustang as Ward 4 City Councilman, as well as Vice Mayor, retiring recently.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mustang Fire Department Equipment Fund, in care of the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven Trent; and is survived by his wife, Becky, of the home; his parents, Ken and Nina Bryan; two sons, Kent Bryan, Trent Bryan and wife Jesse; two grandsons, Jackson and Brenden - all of Mustang.
