Helen was born August 16, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Greeley, PA where she met her future husband, Ken Maeran upon his return from WWII service. They were married in North Carolina, March 27, 1946. Ken served in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in the Denver area and settled in Englewood.
Helen always had a ready smile and welcoming heart for all that she met. She was a super avid golfer, active skier and bridge player. She was a member of the local chapter of the Englewood Eastern Star, the Englewood Elks and a Red Hatter. In the 1960’s, Helen was involved in the Denver Historical Society and led tours at the Molly Brown House.
She will be greatly missed by her children, her grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
