MAMOU, LOUISIANA
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, January 13, 2020, for Francis “Frank” Anthony Wilson, 45, who passed away peacefully on January 6, 2020 in Lafayette, LA surrounded by his loving family.

Pastor Wallace Bellard, Jr. will conduct funeral services.

Francis Anthony Wilson entered this world on September 7, 1974. He was born to Freda Wilson and Claude Morrow.

Mr. Wilson was a very outgoing person, with a good heart, who would do anything for anyone! He was very outgoing, and he really loved the outdoors. After graduating high school, he continued his education at LSUE and then went on the obtain a degree in education from McNeese State University. Mr. Francis Anthony Wilson believed that Knowledge was Power! Therefore, he wanted to educate as many people, so he became a teacher then later the Assistant Principal of Reynaud and Oak Park Middle School.

Left to cherish his memories is his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Freda and Edwin Wilson, Sr.; two stepsons, Jake and Nick Verrette of Lake Charles, LA; five brothers, Walter Jack of Eunice, LA, Quincy Jack of Church Point, LA, Travis (Latoya) Wilson of Bossier City, LA, Harry Jack of Mamou, LA, Edwin (Amy) Wilson, Jr. of Ville Platte, LA; and three sisters, Lakeisha (Benjamin) Smith of Houston, TX., Goleta (Cedric) Williams of Hot Springs, AR. and Salinda (Rev. Wallace) Bellard, Jr. of Oberlin, LA; and one honorary brother, Nick Bellard. Frank, as we know him, had great friends but we want to recognize Rochelle Jack, Wilfred Watson, Jr., Timothy Lavergne, and William Davis.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, and his biological father, Claude Morrow; two brothers, Larry B. Jack and Learnest (Blackie) Jack, and one sister, Ramona Jack.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
