Jean Flynn,age 94, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at her daughters home in Columbia, Missouri.
Jean was born December 4, 1925 in Gregory Landing, Missouri, the daughter of the late John and Mabel Bayne Sommers.
She married Harold E. Flynn on June 7, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2001.
Jean was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper at Westminster College for thirty years until her retirement in 1996. Jean was a member of First Christian Church in Fulton.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Flynn of Fulton, Missouri; two daughters, Debbie Sandberg of Stratham, New Hampshire and Denise Scott of Columbia, Missouri; one sister, Darlene Rose of Lees Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren, Andrea Mongler, Cara Gerety, Alex Flynn, Sean Flynn and Annie Flynn.
Jean was also preceded in death by one son, Craig Flynn; one granddaughter, Katy Flynn; one brother and one sister.
Private internment will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Missouri Dream Factory.
