Leon Davis departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 27 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 15, 1931, the son of the late Jack and Julia Franks Davis. On February 13, 1954, he was united in marriage to Robbie Cook, who survives.

Leon served honorably in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953. He had worked for General Motors in Flint, Michigan, done carpentry work and built furniture in Savannah, Tennessee, was the co-owner of D&D Sheet Metal in Savannah, Tennessee, and did maintenance work for the Hardin County Board of Education for 21 years. He was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and yardwork.

Leon is survived by his wife, Robbie Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Kathy Tucker and her husband Bobby, and Sharon Livingston and her husband Randy, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Matthew Jerrolds and wife Shayna, Lindsay Battles, Jacob Livingston and his wife Halle, and Kaylee Livingston; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Jerry Davis and his wife Joyce of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister, Lydia Devers of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by a son, Michael Leon Davis; brothers, James Davis and Otis Davis; and a sister, Lucille Ables.
