Don could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He obtained his Plumbing Contractors License by completing a complex line of testing and training. He then went on to build his own successful plumbing company in Oklahoma City, a company that reflected his outstanding character, dedication and reputation.
Family was the most important part of Don’s life, and he dedicated himself to insure his family’s needs were met. He also loved the Lord, and had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His salvation was the strong foundation that carried him through his difficult illness.
He was adventurous and loved many outdoor hobbies which included racing, boating and traveling. He developed many friendships through his hobbies that became his extended family.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Reid, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Renae Reid; mother, Shirley Reid; sister, Misty O’Daniel and her husband Duane; niece, Breanna Walters; niece, Shanna Burden; nephew, Coaty O’Daniel; brother, Chad Reid and wife Amber Leigh; nephew, Luke Reid; brother, Anthony Powers and wife Shanna; nephews, Colton and Steven Powers; nieces and nephews, Helena Morales, Christian Morales, Alex Henson and Haley Henson; uncle, Charlie Cates and grandmother, Leona Cates.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Faith Tabernacle, 800 S. Portland Ave., Oklahoma City, OK, with interment following at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
