Larry Raymond Langford, 73, Passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his home in Ahwatukee Phoenix, with family members surrounding him.

Born March 18, 1946 to Floyd (in Air Force) and Irene (housewife) Langford, he was one of 10 children. He graduated from Tempe H.S. in 1964 with two letters each in football and basketball, and one in track. He attended ASU on a football scholarship, starting as offensive tackle his senior year (1967-68). He graduated with major in education and taught math and science at Marcos de Niza H.S. for 40 years. He earned Master degrees in Science, and Student Drivers Education during that tenure. He was the Nature Lodge Counselor at Camp Geronimo for many years with the Boy Scouts of America.

He retired in 2008 and moved to Monticello, Utah and lived a life he dreamed of right at the base of the Blue Abajo Mountains. He loved hiking, camping, hunting, and ATV riding with the San Juan Safari each year until in 2010 he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer and started the fight against that awful disease. He lived through two Stem Cell Transplants, Guillan Barre, two pneumonias, one with respiratory failure, three blood clots in his lower leg, Sepsis, and cellulitis. He fought a strong battle against this disease and fought to the end.

He is survived by his dedicated, loving, and supportive wife, Teverly. They had been sealed together for time and all eternity in the Mesa LDS temple on September 15, 2006. Surviving relatives include: Siblings: Richard, Michael, Leonard, Kathleen, Mayrene, and Darlene. Children (their spouse) and grandchildren) include: Michelle ((Chase), Natalie, Ethan, Hunter, Liam), Michael, and Erik.
