Floyd was born July 29, 1945 in Hamilton County, TN to the late Harrison Payne and the late Violet Key Payne.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister preceded him in death.
He is survived by:
Wife of 49 years: Linda Broady Payne of the home
4 Sons: Raven Payne and William of Conover; Shannon Payne and Sam of Newton; Anthony “Tony” Payne and April of Catawba; Daniel Payne of Catawba
2 Daughters: Yvonne Payne of Newton; Tonya Wilson and David of Maiden
Sister: Rachael Sutton of Florida
8 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren
