Mr. Jerry Lester Itz of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, November 20th at the age of 65 years
Jerry Lester Itz was born on October 6th, 1952, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Lonnie A. and Velma Maria Bruns Itz.
He married Carol Samford on June 26th, 1976, in Bethany Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, Texas.
Mr. Jerry Itz is survived by his wife: Carol Samford Itz of Fredericksburg
One daughter, one son: Jason Itz of Arizona
Rebecca Itz of College Station
Two grandchildren: Brenna and Kadyn Itz
One sister: Jeanette Itz Beckamnn of Fredericksburg
Kermit and Sue Itz of Fredericksburg
Numerous nieces and nephews
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents
The body lay in state in the Bethany Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg on Saturday, November 25th from 9:00 till 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Casey Zesch officiating.
Pallbearers: Randy Bolt, Gerald Macias, TJ Noriega, AC Kast, Robert Beckmann, Lyle Luttrell
Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Bierschwale, Corky Durst, Edward Stroeher
Cremation will follow with interment of his cremains at a later date.
For those who so desire you may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Bethany Lutheran Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Crabapple, Texas Sheep and Goat Raiser’s Association, DaVita or to the charity of your choice.
