Memorial services for Carol Kreeger Sheldon, 57, of Hiram, will be 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Sheldon died Dec. 28, 2008, at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Born Feb. 6, 1951, in Elyria, she had lived in Wickliffe before moving to Hiram. She was a member and past Mighty Chosen One of Al Sirat Caldron No. 11, of Cleveland. She was also a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Chardon. Mrs. Sheldon worked as a registered nurse at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cleveland for 27 years.
Survivors are her mother, BettyLou (Smith) Kreeger; sister, Linda (Jim) Cain; niece, Morgan Cain; nephew, Brandon Cain; Godchildren, Luke and Whitney Ockenden; and brother-in-law, Jim (Joan) Heins. Her husband, Paul, whom she married Dec. 21, 1974, died in 2004. Her father, Norman Kreeger, is also deceased.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
